Not rumors. I've just been seeing a couple of videos about trading for Ball. I get why now. He and Reddick are being shopped.

I like Lonzo as a player - fantastic on defense, showed something as a shooter last year and is actually a very solid finisher at the hoop. Pels' roster construction is a mess - way too packed of a paint.

If you can get him for cheap, which is very possible considering his performance this year and his contract status, Lonzo could be a difference maker for us.

    Proposal:
    Lonzo to HOU
Oubre, Looney, and Kurucs to NOP
    Reddick and PJ to GSW

We take a flier on Lonzo, Warriors get two high-impact vets to gear up for a playoff run, and Pels get a young wing that fits the timeline of their core.

    I'd rather have Oubre.

I like Oubre too - super athletic and can use his length to be disruptive on D. Lonzo is a smarter player and a better playmaker, while Oubre is more explosive. Just a matter of preference. My sense is that Silas wants smart players who are willing to whip the ball around.

Another consideration is contract - Lonzo is two years younger, makes $5 MM less this year and is a RFA, while Oubre is unrestricted.

For the reasons above, I could see our front office preferring Lonzo over Oubre.

    Interesting.

BMac listed as one of best 3ball snipers but no Mason Jones or Sterling Brown?

Cleveland, Minny and Orlando lack even 1 of these snipers.

I think Wall maybe the piece that they are looking for. He checks all of boxes. These 2 and Bledsoe equal Wall’s contract. Hear me out they need leadership for all the youth and Wall expires when Zion gets ready to come off his rookie contract. The exit of max contract is worth throwing FRPs to make it go away, IMO.

Bledsoe = Aaron Gordon and maybe a pick all day because he is locked into a contract and fills their needs.

I think Ball (expiring but shouldn’t be crazy high to lock in over the next 3 years)is a fit in Silas systems.

Ball, E. Gordon, A. Gordon complement each other; all are 2 way players playing defense above average. Wood rebounding & Tate is the glue guy (like a younger Tucker on a nothing contract). Wood, Eric and Aaron Gordon is where the scoring will come from with AG as the point forward. Ball movement takes some the pressure off of Ball. Ball has grown a 3 point shot over his career.

Tucker, Oladipo, & Riddick should bring nice returns at the trade deadline. With House & Benny Mc to add to the packages. We would be in great shape and even better after the trade deadline.

I am hoping he will read it here. How many picks would you send to NOP to make it happen? I tried it several places and some give NOP a positive return without out picks (NBA trade machine).

Lonzo, armed with Rich Paul and unrealistic expectations, is looking to get paid.

I’d steer clear of that mess. Let someone like the Knicks give him $20M+ per year.

Would need at least 2 IMO to end up with all those players.

    Likely twice that many.

Stone is like Midas, he hoards his gold ... er picks.

Does this mean House, BMac and EGo will not be traded?

I hope this is exactly what Ra-fell said to Daryl right before he hung up on him and called Nets to accept their deal.

Still want to add this beast to our beastly defense.

AG shooting 36% from 3 now.

    AG would immediately improve rebounding.

Imagine AG trailing Wall-Wood PnR. Or even an AG-Wood PnR.

And we need his bully ball and physicality vs. Lakers and Nuggets.
