There are moments where you think CNN hits an objective clear concise agenda and then they go into the creepy bias. No doubt the Biden administration is much much better but not void of criticism. But at the end of the day it's about pleasing their general audience and keeping ratings up.

Sanders is the rare ideological consistent politician outside of a few wedge issue things like gun rights. Therefore the left has no reason to turn on Bernie. The left doesn't do cult of personalities. It's purely ideological.
So its ok to do this stuff for Sanders but not Biden, gotcha. Yes the left does do cult of personality and Bernie is a prime example as well as Obama. If CNN needs to stop doing this every "news" media site needs to stop with all politicians.
A leftist magazine is open about their bias. They will openly say they support Bernie Sanders because his ideology matches theirs. Their is no masking of their agenda. It's out in the open. Jacobin will never tell you they are balanced. They will tell you they are democratic socialists. And Bernie isn't a savior. He's just the most prominent polticians who espouses democratic socialist policies. It's purely an ideological partnership. The love affair of Joe Biden isn't based in ideological principles. It's just based on Biden clearing the lowest bar in American history z Donald Trump's presidency. CNN isn't an ideological news organization. They are a cable tv news channel that claims no bias on either side. So yes when the VP and political director of CNN says that Joe Biden is embracing all of us with a hug with his outstretched arms, it's kinda pathetic and concerning.
