I really wish Stone could have gotten the 8th pick on top of Wall. Deni's been looking great, one of the few bright spots on that team.

I feel so bad for Wizards fans, they got screwed so hard in this trade. No one besides their GM and James Harden is stupid enough to think trading for Westbrook is a good idea.

Russell Westbrook looks very ordinary outside of The Rockets system that opened it up for him last season

Harden didn't push for it, he wasn't worried if the Rockets did or didn't make the trade. Also Werstbrook did have a good season with us

I’m expecting an energized Russ on Tuesday. He’ll want to as he would say “bust our ass” for blaming the Lakers playoff loss on him and not letting him “play his game” all year long even though Harden deferred to him and we traded Clint to open up the floor. Not to mention he had one of the most efficient seasons of his career...but it wasn’t a triple double so I guess he’s mad lol. He really lives for these perceived one on one battles so hopefully he jacks up a bunch of shots. That’ll ensure we win.

Side-note: I thought he’d come back from this injury today looking much less washed. This quad has really made him into a caricature of himself on the floor.

Of course he did. The demand then was trade for Westbrook or trade him.

"His way" was him bring the ball up and running the offense. This trade was inevitable. Rockets weren't trading Harden at that point, because we were not going to get stuck with Westbrook without Harden *cringe* Harden was never giving up the ball and was never going to change positions to play off ball. Except for KD apparently. I bet Westbrook thought Harden was going to take a back seat for him. lol If he wanted his own team he should stayed with OKC. That was only place he has had success because they were the only one willing to build around him. Sometimes grass ain't always greener on the other side as Harden and the Nets barely escaped Miami last night.

That was CP3 situation you are describing.

Westbrook literally asked his agent to get him away from here. So Rockets did.
