    Nope,

all of the are money first, not only competing against each other but against food network, e!, mtv, ESPN, etc.

brother, once you see it as a corporation, which it is, you will totally understand.

you got people in the GARM not understanding why Stephen A Smith is making $8 million a year when he's wrong all the time about basketball.
because he doesn't get paid for predictions, he gets paid for the all the State Farm insurance commercials that show up during his show.

remember only a few of us in the D&D understand how the world works and actually pay our taxes to the IRS.

You're right. Its a race for ratings. There clearly is over saturation of news stations and clearly like other television stations they market to particular audiences which muddies their reporting

Do people ever wonder why they keep seeing Chris Paul and Aaron Rogers State Farm commercials?
Then when they start watching the news you keep seeing some diabetes and crons disease commercials??

do they have that crap on state media (for those who live in North Korea or China who are using VPN to get here)?

Have to agree with @tinman on this. The villain cash cow is gone for now, cnn just testing if the hero Biden angle sells. They just want to give viewers what they want

I don't watch a lot of CNN (or MSNBC, Fox, or OAAN) so I don't know the commentator, but are you upset he gave his opinion or was there some untrue or misreporting of what happened? Seems the guys role is to opine, not report.

btw, looking at the images he is talking about... it was a very beautiful picture and if I was a political commentator I would have talked positively about it if asked.

The commentator is talking about Biden like he is God coming to give us Salvation.

You don't see the issue with that?

The question you should ask yourself is why this happened. Is it because all of a sudden people flocked to FOX News during a crisis away from CNN. Did CNN viewers all of a sudden want to get their news from FOX? Is that what happened?

Or is it just that the GOP started their political advertising early thus boosting FoxNews ad rev and saving it from the decline.

It doesn't take an Art history major to know that one chart is rarely the full story.

We also need to keep in mind that a lot of these shows aren’t really news shows but opinion. Shows like Morning Joe are very much opinion and Joe Scarborough doesn’t hide that.

I agree the anti Trump stuff did get over the top at time and a lot of it was probably played up for ratings. At the same time let’s not forget that Trump did personalize it and for ratings or not I don’t blame Joe Scarborough for getting very heated at Trump after he peddled theories that Scarborough was involved in the deaths of a Congressional staff and personally insulting his wife Minka Bryzynski.

He is doing a hell of job in getting elected and through week one saving from an insane racist narcissist xenophobe fake with no agenda but self-aggrandizement. So he is salvation. But he's not god, he just as a competent team, so that's new.

There is no contrast or drama without the idiots. I used to think that Basso and Trader were were actual liberals that just posted stupid conservative stuff like softballs to be hit out of the park.

I understand there are always two sides to a debate. And there are plenty of people with sincere arguments to be made. Early on I blocked people posting objectional things (racist, violent, personal attacks, obscenities). I added people simply trolling with clearly insincere and disproven arguments. I didn't need that "contrast" and definitely didn't need that type of drama. Those I block can believe they have made a valid point or have gotten in the last word.

    Boring doesn’t sell

this reminds of when people asked why people who are on MTV Real World are so messed up

Because nobody wants to watch a church group stuck in house cooking up meatloaf
