Why are you making arguments like that when you know very clearly that our team even if fully healthy will not be winning a championship.

He's done a lot for our team. If you hate him because he's a prima dona...well thats every player in the league almost.

well you obviously arent a champion, because the true champions KNOW anything is possible

anyway nice try deflecting from the arguments you have no answer for...they all now coming from the multiple threads making the room for escape nonexistent...they keep poping out in different topics....you cant advocate tanking and stay consistent with other rational beliefs you hold

Cmon man......we arent even a playoff team dude. You know Im a big homer but we dont have a top 10 guy on the squad.

Im not deflecting, Nets have the talent for the championship, we do not. They have dudes in their thirties going for a championship all of whom are top 20 at worst in the league, we do not have that. Im not deflecting, I want to win, but we wont be able to win soon if we dont tank.

Seems like Harden and Kyrie are oil and water. I know Durant didn’t play, but Harden and Durant were killing it. I know it’s still early. Let’s see what happens. Obviously utter failure and implosion would be in our best interest.

Thats the thing with DAntoni for example. You cant play old ass CP heavy minutes and then wonder what would happen if he didnt break his hammy(minute to go in the games 4th quarter). You cant play Harden(then slim) high minutes all season to get good record and then have problem with his tiredness in playoffs. You cant coast on defense all season and turn it on in playoffs - body is not used to it. Thats just dumb, gimmick coaching... if your goal is championship. See what LeBron does he basicaly is physiotherapy 101 thats why he never gets injuries and is at his best in the playoffs

After watching the last 2 games after Kyrie has returned, Harden has deferred way too much to Kyrie, much the same way he did with John Wall and with nearly identical results. Low shot attempts, low scoring by his standards and double digit assists. He is either going to have to learn how to not be as lackadaisical when the ball is not in his hands and make a better effort to get open or he is going to have to be more aggressive. This just doesn’t work for him. CP3 was somewhat right in that he needs to be more of a threat off the ball. He doesn’t need to be running around like Steph, Richard Hamilton or Reggie Miller, but I just don’t see how what he’s doing makes the team better if they’re really trying to compete for a championship.

He goes from MVP caliber player to just a regular all star level player dropping 20 and 10 which is good, but now he’s a John Wall level player instead of James Harden and his impact on the game is not nearly the same. I think they’ll figure that part out. The bigger issue will be getting rebounding and paint protection.

Harden (and his biggest fans) wants to have his cake and eat it, too. He wants to be the offense and play with talented players. No sirs, if he wants to win with players who don't need to rely on him, he's going to have to sacrifice. He's delusional if he thinks nothing should change.

He’s averaging 17.8 shots per game in Brooklyn which would be his lowest in 6 years and MUCH lower than his last 3 years when he was well over 20 shots per game.

He’s also averaging 12.3 assists which would be a career high.

His usage rate is lower than ANY year in Houston.

These are 3 fairly big changes in his usual game.

Nets and Cavs talking about McGee. That would be huge. Fits into that player exception they have now.

That's all good. Let's see if it lasts. Let's see if the Nets can win that way. Let's see if he's happy winning with those numbers.

What I am reading is that he is going through the motions with his new role. People are straight up calling for the Nets to trade Kyrie for role player because Harden can't play the way he used to play.

Get the feeling that KD and Kyrie do NOT like Harden. They can tolerate him at best.

I think he's in a bit of a tough spot once Kyrie came back. With Kyrie, Harden's skillset is somewhat negated because Kyrie gets the ball and doesn't pass (and has been extremely effective doing so, to be fair). So Nash has Harden leading the second unit, but those guys aren't very good.
