2 what if he leaves just like AD left before he becomes what hes supposed to?
3 how do you even know what hes supposed to be
4 also remmeber there are also 10 other tanking teams doing the same
5 how hes gonna overcome Philly which you say is now destined to win it all(just a simmons trade away)?

6 all in all you may tank for 30 years and nothing is guaranteed for you, nothing, except that you were pathetically losing during that period, and the title may be won by the team like miami that didnt even tank at all...
the only thing tank guarantees is losing... this is the only sure thing with the tank...

 

None of this is a compelling argument for why we shouldnt tank. You can literally offer a hypothetical for anyone situations. We dont have the talent end of story.

The bubble environment really helped Miami and it is unlikely that they can ever replicate that success.

The NBA has become a league where everyone lives and dies off of the three pointer. Everyone knows that already, I guess, but it's kinda anticlimactic. If your team can stop the three or make them, it has a chance, if it can stop the three and make them, they're winning most of their games.

 

Harden still looks like the best player even though he's not scoring....but he also ...still doesnt look like Harden man, its weird. He still looks like a lesser version of himself.
