    The world was a very different place on September 2, 2017. He probably thought Morey and MDA were here with him for the long haul, Tilman wasn't a meddling cheapskate, and that the Rockets were on their way to taking down Golden State. Things change, people change, and circumstances change. Let it go.

    Everything he was loyal to besides the city itself is gone from when he made that tweet.

    I'm extremely frustrated with the way the way Harden handled the end of his tenure here (starting with Westbrook) but lets not pretend we would have been loyal to him if his performance fell off for legit reasons. Players and fans only love each other when it's mutually beneficial.

    Yep. This board has a dozen "I've grown to HATE *fill in the blank*" threads but users get upset when a player has had enough with us. Every fanbase is guilty of it.

    Harden gave us 8 great years of contention and left us with a huge haul of picks. I have nothing but good things to say about James.

    Tilman didn't own the team when he made that comment. Lulz. He wasn't talking about this disaster or an organization, he was talking about the good Rockets. Nobody wants to play for this **** team. It's not just Harden.

    Healthy humans sometimes change their minds about things, especially when conditions around them change.

    Mature humans tend to avoid promises including "never" or "always" unless made to a spouse, parents, or children.

    So, Harden was immature in 2017 to have promised but healthy now to have changed his mind.
