If Miami is willing to give up precious, we could just trade directly with them and get an expiring Olynk to match salaries.
Anyone who thinks Tillman is going to wait to win is asking for a lot of patience that man doesn't have. It's unlikely we'll wait that long to actually draft of someone of value through picks before we try to trade for a young super star that might fit the mold. If we can actually get a promising star through the draft we might be a good spot to land in a few years but by then most of our contracted players will be nearly up or definitely out of their respective primes.

They didn't rest starters that year either...they were hurt...Curry literally had surgery on his ankle that year, not debatable. They were literally trying to trade for Jordan that year too and it was a lockout year. They simply never tanked. the year before that they drafted Klay...at #11... If you're tanking to get the 11th pick then you're doing it wrong. There is more argument that they tanked for Wisemen than there is that they tanked to build their championship team.

As a Rockets fan I always like to see the team win, always. But I think in the long term future, this win is one of the most stupid things I've ever seen.
