Trump isn't the president. You can't use the BUT TRUMP thing to excuse Biden's reckless behavior. He is the president* and therefore should be more careful about his own health AND those around him. The mask mandate only requires a mask consistent with CDC guidelines. He was socially distanced, so he wasn't even violating the order.
I was talking to my dad about this yesterday. He lives in a Mexico in a border city and he follows the US news very closely. He watched the entire inauguration and he did notice that for very brief moments the protocols were not followed and that really annoyed him. My dad isn't a conservative or a liberal. He was just an observer looking and I told him yesterday, a majority of those people have been vaccinated, however I agree it doesn't excuse them since they are attempting to send a message to the country. I also told him, unfortunately, human emotion does impair your judgement temporarily sometimes and these people were just celebrating and got caught in the moment. It just happens man. Overall, COVID protocols were mostly adhered to although you did have those brief moments. I think it's fair to criticize I suppose since people will want to find faults with the Biden presidency. So far he's done exactly what he said he would do in regards to COVID and his administration is doing all it can to start working on reducing the number of cases in this country and get everybody vaccinated. I understand that individuals expect perfection from their leaders, the reality is that they are human and they are susceptible to mistakes.
