Royce man. That guy had potential. Skillset was as unique as his personality. Wish he had put it all together.
Not very optimistic about the kid but I sure do love a good project. Ala Terrence Williams, Thomas Robinson Glad to see Stone is trying
While I’m not saying this move is something to put in the history books, Stone definitely deserves some credit for the way he’s handled things around here as a rookie GM. This move in particular is a low (basically nothing) risk to get a 20 year old dude with good talent on the roster on basically a minimum contract. We have character development legend, John Lucas and a really tough vet locker room around him. Maybe we get a rotation player out of it, maybe we don’t. Either way, Stone’s moves have benefited us for the future and outside of maybe not getting Ben Simmons, I can’t really say I’m not in favor of his moves.
Ouch for Cavs, just read they gave four 2nd rounders plus $5mil cash to get him just a year ago. Now sold him for top55 protected 2nd haha
Love it mayne! Ok bye tucker to the bench. Porter has all keys to any strip clubs like Harden. Let this guy work.
He's had issues going back to his college days, at least, but it cost us nothing. Hope it doesn't cost us anything in the future. Otherwise, wth... legit potential for almost nothing from the looks of it. Of course that could mean nobody wanted him even for nothing, too.
Winning isn't really a big priority right now and we gave up nothing. The kid seems like a punk headcase and I'm not expecting anything. But at this price tag it's an extremely good thing to try.
We still have to eat his salary, but I suppose that's covered by insurance. I still see Tucker, McLemore and Gordon gone. Too many guards. Mason can ball. McLemore is redundant. Tucker will play harder for a team in contention. Chriss plus picks for Gordon/Tucker works for both teams.
