Great pick up, low risk high reward. Got to give props to stone. Brought in C Wood, Tate, Mason Jones and Porter all in one year.
His stats arent impressive really. But he is 20 and he has move to improve. Hopefully he helps with the tank.
His stats were very impressive for a 19 year old. 10/3/2 in 23 minutes again on about average efficiency.
Welp. Tanks over. We now have the newer better version of Kobe and a more skilled skinny Shaq. We might not lose another game.
Dude was the last pick of the 1st round and has maturity issues at two different places? Not sure if this is as good as CF is creaming their pants over.
Love it, dude is probably a lost cause but for a protected 2nd that might not even convey there's nothing to not like really, he has talent and you never know, hopefully Lucas can help him get better as a person and make a real player out of him.
This is the "treasure hunting" approach to finding long-term assets while simultaneously tanking. A comparable example is Jose Altuve (we're talking best case scenario here). He was a young prospect that got a lot of playing time on some of the worst teams in MLB history... but matured into an MVP-caliber player on a championship team.
Protected second round pick sounds like: Stone: "Take this bag of chips or leave it!" Cavs GM: "Welp, I'll take the bag of chips"
Wow This guy can really be Hardens successor. Obviously the attitude needs to be checked but if he can channel that fire into his game he can be great.
