How the nets are down to the terrible Cavs despite their overwhelming talent and hot start shows just how random and unpredictable some nba regular season games will be.
so you're saying that LOF behavior is warranted because Harden was really really really good? this pre Lin-abetes!
Honestly, it’s one thing to post a positive comment about Harden and the Nets here and there. But it’s a whole different thing when the ‘NBA action’ thread has almost 400 replies mainly about Harden and the Nets. Can’t even have meaningful discussions on the other games.
Looks like Nash is having Harden run the second unit while Irving/Durant rest. When's the last time he's done that? Just slips right into any role with ease.
well you can, but you might be speaking to someone else. We are all watching the nets, let's be honest. I know I was watching other teams in relation to the Rockets and Harden on the Rockets. Now that the Rockets aren't great, and Harden is in bk, my watching of other teams has stagnated.
Some interesting early observation... Durant is clearly being treated as the best player on the nets team. Durant likes playing the whole 1st quarter or most of it (as most superstars seem to) and Nash has subbed him last every game I've watched (pre and post harden trade). Interesting to see nash take out harden first, thus allowing Harden to lead the second unit at the start of the 2nd quarter. With irving on the court, harden will have far less touches and ball time than he is accustomed to. Both will need to adapt. Durants elite ability to score without dominating the ball will be fine paired with either. I expect Nash to play with the substitution pattern and rotation for awhile.
I feel the Nets' lack of depth is really hurting them too. The guys I haven't heard of can't make shots.
Harden only fans are out tonight!, anyways Harden scoreless and looking as usual when he needs to take over or plays with other stars...
