Does it matter? Rockets hybrid defense would just make that player mediocre anyway. Bring back Bzdelik, Rockets need a "real" i.e. proven NBA defensive assistant coach.
Defense is worth watching. Hoping we don't don't get lit up by the Suns. Don't get into a hole in Q1 like last game.
dont you think you are doing grading players based on what you saw them do last year rather then how you expected them to do at the beggining of the last years season? Butler being top 10? perhaps but is debatable he did nothing in his career prior to last year neither in rs nor in playoffs ... NOTHING... Bam top 25? perhaps but the same could be said for a lot of players If the rockets get to finals now i am sure youll put oladipo into top 10 and wood in top 25 tyler herro was nobody last year , nobody, and duncan robinson as well juts like mason jason is nobody NOW Perhaps Mason Jones is a great contending piece? of course if we get to the finals he will be.... whatever, i agree teams of this kind will fail more often than not but the same goes for any other type of teams...and especially if you tank...you may tank 20 years in a row and still come up with nothing to show for it so why lose and wait 5 years before competing when you can do it right now
Like almost every single game this season. Even WITH Harden, Silas offense struggled to score 30 points a quarter and the defense struggled to keep opposing teams from scoring at will.
Finally! A starting lineup that makes sense. Even though I would have been tempted to start Brown over EGo. It's still too damn undersized but hell, it's a start in right direction.
Is anyone watching Nets-Cavs right now? The Rockets need to be emulating the Cavs defense first identity right now. This is how a less talented team beats a more talented team. I hope that Silas is taking notes.
