not surprising in the number of heavy hitters that are interested in him. lets see where he ends up landing
Looks like we stayed #11 in both polls this week. About right considering we did not exactly crush anybody last week. We struggled at times especially against Wichita State. Only way to get our swagger back is to keep winning. Hope Mark develops into the talent he looks like he is capable of. Right now it looks like we are going to have to rely on Sasser, Grimes, and Jarreau to provide scoring unless someone else steps up to help out with the departure of Mills.
It's amazing to me how few people on here care about the ex cougar athletes as they pursue professional careers. Harden could change brands of toilet paper he uses and there would be 100 pages of posts on it. Thank you for posting this. I try to keep up with all I know about. Armoni Brooks, Devin Dotson, who by the way I noticed has started the last couple of games with Cleveland, and Nate Hinton who thanks to you I found out is with the Mavs. I also like to keep tabs on Case Keenum, Greg Ward, and Ed Oliver. How soon most of these guys are forgotten.

Thanks for posting. Forgot about two of my favorites Elmo Wright and Robert Newhouse. Too bad they don't have a Coogs in the Pros section for men's basketball. We all remember Hakeem, Drexler, and Elvin Hayes. Otis Birdsong and Rob Williams were in the NBA for a while. I think Greg "Cadillac Anderson was in the league for a couple of years. There were so many others. I remember the cougar teams led by Dwight Jones and Dwight Davis. Don't remember if they made a splash in the NBA or not.
CKS said yesterday they are trying to move the schedule around if Cinn can't get cleared for Saturday
Currently going trough their best stretch of the season. Really no reason why they should drop another game.
Good chance they run the table. It appears they have weathered the storm with covid and adjusted well to the loss of Mills.
ultimately though, the question will be can they rebound against the bigger teams should those teams find us in the tournament.
And if our key players can stay out of foul trouble. Watching these games it appears many of these fouls called by refs are questionable. It makes things much harder when you have to sit one of your best rebounders or top scorers after two or three minutes for the remainder of the half due to foul trouble. So I share your concern about rebounding against these bigger teams. We have to play smart and hope the refs will swallow their whistle.
I'm a little more confident about our bigs with the recent play of Chaney, but yea were not very big. Its too bad Chris Harris graduated. This team goes as far as Grimes takes them. When he's hitting his shots, were a sweet 16/elite 8 team.
