    Good advice and I appreciate it, but I have around 40 members on my ignore list after 18 years, the overwhelming majority because of a history of bigoted posts. Be it the bigotry aimed at one’s race, or ethnicity, or color, or religion, or one’s gender, their social class, because they are a member of the LGBTQ community, which would describe the bigot I interacted with here, and all the other forms of bigotry a civilized society needs to guard against? I won’t put up with it and I don’t have to.

    The casual bigotry of @King1 isn’t so different from the blatant bigotry displayed at the Capitol on January 6th, merely more insidious. He demeans a group of people during a discussion that had nothing to do with them. He devalues that group of people because they are different than he is. His kind of bigotry contributes to assaults on members of that community, something he is either oblivious to, simply doesn’t care about, or thinks they deserve.

    He’s going on my ignore list, for which he should be grateful. It would be easy enough for me to make his forays into D&D a misery for him. @King1 is the worst kind of fool. A bigot searching for an outlet where he can put his bigotry on display as a balm for his insecurities. I don’t wish him luck.

    Uhhh, is this statement not the definition of a bigot which you said you're not?

    a person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group.
