Imagine b**** ass Giannis going to Bucks management saying, oh I need someone that will pass the ball not that ball hog James Harden.
He's the facilitator. Sets up the chairs, gets the Dunkin Donuts. Sleeps on the couch when it's over.
How would u even guard them? Then u have Harris who shoots 50% from three. U can’t even guard them now with just Harden and KD. KD didn’t even play that well and still dropped 30.
Cmon man, Harden has outperformed Iving in the playoffs when he’s not next to Lebron. Same with KD imo when he’s not with Curry
Its crazy, its like Harden lvl'd up and gained a new ability. He was always an amazing passer, its just Gordon probably eliminated 15 assists for Harden every game. Hate that he is gone, we never had that kind of talent.
Agree to disagree...zach lowes article last year pretty much settle that debate for me. More importantly, fair or unfair, players like Giannis, harden (and to a lesser extent Durant) are going to be judge for reaching the finals or winning the finals. They've won mvps, scoring titles or other accolades. They are missing not only the title but a defining post season moment. Dame lillard who isn't close to being in the same category would get a ton more hate (similar to pg) if not for his two series ending buzzer beater and his performance in those series.
Giannis scores like a role player all open dunks and wide open jumpers(practice like ones). His role players are much better playmakers. Dude is Carl Landry with better athleticism and passing not a number one option on a championship team. last 5 minutes nets were leaving him open to guard the other 4 guys
He can't be doubled, there is too much talent and even Jordan down low is a legit threat.... Turns out Rockets were actually holding Harden back...
Relax, I am not trying to knock on James. I'm just saying he can definitely carry them in the RS and they can do their damage in the playoffs. I mean that's how it felt the 2017-2018 season when CP3 put on a clinic in the playoffs since he was well rested.
Yes but Harden objectively performed well last season by the numbers. And the one before that as well. If you mean title wise, yes it’s been a disappointing, But you would agree that he’s gone against more talented teams.
lulz at Shaq insisting Kyrie will be the PG...after all game long complimenting Harden for getting everyone involved.
Good for James. But no one questions his ability in the regular season. The team looks scary. That’s for sure.
That was a great offensive game for the Nets much like how they look the first few games with Durant and irving. How the three of them play together will be very interesting. Doubt it will be an issue during the regular season though... They should be unstoppable regardless. The playoffs when teams play harder, smarter, slower and tighter will be the true test. As for this game, nets made 15-31 from 3pt and shot well over 50%. They also had outstanding performance from harris, green, jordan while the holding the bucks to under 43% fg. Yet they barely beat the bucks... Needless to say, defense/rebounding will be an issue going forward
