Almost every great coach has a saying that it's more about how you play than the results. You're just going to lose some games, even the best teams can drop a game to the worst team, but if your guys are playing the way they are coached and are putting in the effort then it's going to work itself out eventually. These two games are perfect example of that for both teams really. Both teams did what they wanted to do and one night the Rockets hit more shots and the next the Spurs hit more shots. You move on, tighten things up, and try to get better.
Look bro you may be right in your own right, but I win because I watched an exciting game and had a fun night, and the day prior to that because I adore gamedays (always was but especially now watching the dogs get to work under the tutilage of the Silas the Mag). This is all the results that matters, and I couldn't care less to whom Adam Silver will hand his fake trophy in June. Spoiler ps I also watched the other game and was glad my guy is balling and got the win, so its kinda double win for me
Since the start of the season, the team has been struggling to have all players healthy or available on the floor and to top that James Harden drama. Harden gave up the last 5 odd games or so to lead offensively which may have cost the Rockets some losses in my opinion. Again tonight, the team was without Wall, EG, oddly even Brown, who played so well last game, and still awaiting and to be seen Oladipo who probably becomes 1st or 2nd leading scorer for the team when he joins. I was expecting a complete blowout but the Rockets played tough and kept it somewhat close even with multiple starters and the team's best bench player missing. I am excited to watch this team evolve when all of them are on the floor ready to play.
For some, there is an inherent joy to watch the team progress organically with players developing chemistry and some into stars and putting in the effort to try to get a championship for their city.
Houston fans have to understand that the best for the immediate future of the franchise is to have a good selection in the next draft (top four). Losses this season improve the chances of future success. Let's develop the players we have without pressure.
This team is no where near a bottom four team. The best thing would be to make the playoffs so we’re in a good position to attract solid FAs.
This team is not even close to being a playoff team. Tucker and Oladipo will likely be traded before the deadline. The next draft is the most talented in a long time. It is time to be smart and understand what is best for the future of the franchise.
back in 2014 did you predict the rise of gsw, them being multiple champions and the best team of all times?
I’m not mad at Tate at all. Right now we are asking him to be a primary ball handler. That’s not him. His role is a cutter/rebound defend and hustle guy. He can be really really good when put with the right group.
