I know next to nothing about the Marvel universe but still enjoyed it just as a standalone Bewitched type show.

I'ts not clear to me what the limits of Wanda's powers are (it's very much like Bewitched in that sense)

I was reading that the second episode was supposed to be a spoof of 60s shows while the first was from the 50s, but I couldn't tell much of a difference.

 

She's stupidly powerful. As in warp reality powerful.

I almost turned it off after the first 10 min of episode 1 also. Just watch episode 2.

 

Yep, some ppl say she might be the most powerful avenger. She has crazy abilities

 

I think Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel are both in that conversation, but she's definitely up there. She was about to kill Thanos (without the stones) by herself before he had his ship fire on everyone.

olsen's performance was great in the american adaptation of old boy.

Well, the movie version of Captain Marvel might be in that conversation, but not the one from the comics. The most interesting thing about the Captain Marvel from the comics is that she's the person Rogue from the X men drained to get the ability to fly.

Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, Thor, and Hulk are all vastly more powerful.

Hell in the comics, Thanos is actively afraid of the Hulk. He's done something of a disservice in the movies.

As to Scarlet Witch, she got angry once and with 3 words, "No more mutants" stripped powers from all but a few dozen mutants on the entire planet. So yeah.....she's pretty powerful.

 

I know the quote and don't disagree, Scarlet Witch is ridiculously OP as a character, I was talking about characters in the comics significantly more powerful than the Captain Marvel in the comics
