Houston is definitely cool city. We have our faults, but we have a damn good theater district, we have a great food scene, our craft beer scene is really really really improved, we have some awesome parks that the City and others are pumping a ton of money into, we are even focusing on expanding our biking network and also making certain areas a lot more walkable. I use to have that closed view of Houston, then I got out (A LOT) and realized I have a good thing going on here. I certainly understand the appeal of other places (I love going to NY for example), but I hate being put down often. Only problem here is we don't have badass weather year round.
I have lived in 6 different countries and at least 7-8 states. I don't live in Houston anymore...... but it is far better than the majority of places I have lived. Who gives a **** if you would or would not go on vacation in Houston? People like to go to vacation in Mexico, Greece, Jamaica and Brazil, but it doesn't mean people want to live there.
You guys always fall for old reporter traps lol also called fabricated narratives or half truths or journalistic spin. Simmons never said he didn’t want to come here. All he has said was he was happy to be a sixer when asked if he was happy he’s not traded and that’s not hard to understand since he’s on a title contending team. He has only said that he can only control his mindset and what he does on the court. Lol this is reminiscent of reports that Harden had friction with Russ or that he preferred Wall over Russ. You guys gotta stop believing everything you read lol.
the weather last week was so outta line...the wind, rain, and cold was very disrespectful to my body much better this week at least, thank God
It sounds far fetched but I really do not put it past Tilman Fertitta to have told his front office staff to not trade James Harden to Daryl Morey. For those that believe that Harden and Durant came to some secret agreement right after the bubble, they don't think that it is true because Tilman SHOULD be mad at KD and the NETS. However, this isn't about the Rockets.... this is about Tilman and his personal feelings towards Daryl Morey.
If the Rockets basically wanted expirings and draft compensation, it's hard to do better than what they got from the Nets. The 76ers pick in 2025 went to OKC in the Horford deal, which already leaves them short versus what NJ could do.If you also believe Morey is great at what he does, I'd also probably rather take my chances with NJ bottoming out vs. Philly. There's also probably longer window for Philly with Embiid/Tobias Harris and a cast of roleplayers than NJ with Durant/Irving and a bunch of minimum contracts.
Not in the summer or when it rains so much that the bayou floods . But winter is great House Lannister
Not a problem for a pure Houstonian. Man, I guess you spent all your pureness by signing up for Clutchfans before 2000. You really hate to see it.
I realize some of you Clutchfans are only use to Carl Herrera jokes so you actually believe people are stupid enough to go jogging in a thunderstorm or throw pool parties in the bayou @Os Trigonum besides only 99ers are deemed pure We are the Kwisatz Haderach
