Post Harden 3-team: ATL - PHI - HOU ATL: Gordon (HOU) + House (HOU) + HOU / MIA 2021 FRP + BRK 2022 FRP PHI: Tucker (HOU) + Clemons (HOU) HOU: Collins (ATL) + Thybulle (PHI) + Korkmaz (PHI) Wall - Exum - Korkmaz Oladipo - Brown - BMac Thybulle - Tate - Nwaba Collins - Kurucs - Martin Jr. Wood - Cousins - Caboclo I would prefer to target Justise Winslow for SF, but I think Memphis is holding on to him until he increases his value. I could also see targeting @D-rock fav AGod to play PF as well.
Trade Oladipo (plus FRPs) for Beal while he wants out. Trade Wall too for younger players + picks if possible. Build around Wood and Beal.
http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=y4kp3t5e Hou: Gordon/PJ Tucker/House Cleveland: Drummond Hou reasons: Allows us to be "competitive" this year while shedding Gordons' long term contract. Adds a big man defender to help out wood against bigger guys. Drummond is also an expiring contract. Clev reasons: Frees up room for Jarrett Allen to grow, gives them more depth at the sf/pf positions and a scoring option in Gordon. It's a long shot but the salaries match up haha
And Drummond fits Tilmans salary cap strategy because he is on 1 year deal like Oladipo. Great trade idea, you hit bullseye for this cheap AF team.
Why not keep Wizards West + Wood + Cousins? Pretty good team if you ask me. Just need to make some moves with PJ and/or Gordon to go after a third really good player. The Rockets have the draft capital to make it happen.
What a mess! Sadly we still have Wall and Gordon’s contracts. It’s like now we are less than nothing. We’re a deficit. A hole. No assets less Wood (a g league player that bounced from team to team less than a year ago)
You mean Wall? Wall and Boogie are too old for a rebuild, are bad fits in Silas system (both offense and defense) and nowhere good enough to help Rockets make playoffs in West. Let's be real.
Trade #1 WAS: Victor Oladipo, Danuel House + 2 FRP HOU: Bradley Beal Trade#2 CHA: Eric Gordon, Chris Clemons + 1 swap + SRP HOU: Terry Rozier Trade#3 PHI: PJ Tucker HOU: Matisse Thybulle + 2 SRP Trade#3 ORL: John Wall, Boogie Cousins, KJ Martin + 2 swaps HOU: Aaron Gordon, Mo Bamba, Evan Fournier *Bamba and Fournier are on expiring contracts. *Silas gets a do over with more players that fit the triple threat he prefers + Rockets add more length and defense to starting 5. *Rockets will be clearly built around Beal-Wood who are similar in age while primary ball handlers will be Rozier and AG. 6'1 Rozier (26)/6'3 BMac (27) 6'4 Beal (27)/6'7 Fournier (28) 6'5 Thybulle (22)/6'5 Brown (26)/6'5 Nwaba (28) 6'8 AG (25)/6'9 Kurucs (22)/6'4 Tate (24) 6'10 Wood (25)/7'0 Bamba (22) *Beg Jeff Bzdelik to return to coach defense.
Forgot to add Exum also expiring as well. Should give Rockets about 30M in salary next season to add another excellent All Star caliber player next season or 2 decent players with All Star potential.
No, I was talking about Wall and Beal. Thought you were suggesting that the Rockets trade Harden for Beal lol
Rockets need to trade for Beal and AG. This young team is too ornery to tank. https://syndication.bleacherreport.....amp.html&_branch_match_id=455461431581909137
Yep, unfortunately Rockets salary cap space will not be as attractive to FA moreso instrumental in trades.
Tillman has made it clear. He wants picks and cap space he won’t use no faith that well trade for win now pieces unless they’re expiring hopefully he’ll prove me wrong or well get some good picks, but I think Tillman is in save money In the future mode (or still in save money mode)
If I were Stone, here is what I would do: 1) Canvas the market for Oladipo 3-way deals with Indiana, a deal for Tucker separately, or deals with Oladipo and Tucker together when their salaries can be aggregated in a month or so. 2) If you don’t like any of the deals coming back, you offer Oladipo a max extension, which for him is 3 years $80 million. If he doesn’t take it, you continue to work the phones up to the deadline. 3) For Tucker, I have a minimum threshold in mind as far as a return. Either a mid first or a quality prospect on a rookie deal. If we don’t get either, you give him a 2 year $20 million extension. My assumption is he takes it. If not, trade him for the best deal possible. I could also see extend and trade as an option, with both Oladipo and Tucker.
Send Dipo to Heat like he wants. Dipo just has to wait the requisite 19 days before he is eligible to be traded for multiple assets. Trade#1 https://tradenba.com/trades/mWRfRuLUD MIA: Victor Oladipo, Chris Clemons HOU: Tyler Herro, Kelly Olynyk, Kendrick Nunn, KZ Okpala Trade#2 https://tradenba.com/trades/1AxsVMWcb ORL: Eric Gordon, Danuel House, Ben McLemore + 2 FRP HOU: Aaron Gordon, Mo Bamba Trade#3 https://tradenba.com/trades/U_luvsiiy PHI: PJ Tucker, KJ Martin HOU: Matisse Thybulle + FRP *Rockets add more players under 30 as well as better spacers/3ball shooters and playmakers - great fits for Silas triple threat motion offense. *Starting roster and bench balanced with more length, defense and triple threat players. Wall/Nunn/Exum Herro/Brown/Nwaba Thybulle/Tate/Kurucs AG/Olynyk/KZ Wood/Boogie/Bamba *Wall + Boogie become trade deadline options for FRP or another young player with potential. *3 separate trades save Rockets $$$ and only lose 1 FRP from their huge FRP war chest of low first rounders. *Olynyk, Exum, Bamba, Nunn all expiring contracts.
