    Good

I would have done the same. The crap Murray pulled off he needs to be spanked a couple of times. Honestly I would not trade with the Sixers as long hes the GM...

what a terrible trade they took over the 76ers deal.

Biggest sin of this whole deal is they believed Oladipo to be a franchise type player.

Turns out, he's on an expiring and doesn't want to be here.

Uggh, naturally. If you are serious, sometimes you have to come with your best offer.

Tilman wasn't going to trade with the sixers. Ben Simmons would probably make this team into the second round playoffs.

Im ok with this. F Morey and im skeptical about the picks Philly would have given up.

Keep seeing a lot of people on all platforms saying Oladipo doesn't want to be here, but I haven't heard a word from Woj or Shams about it.. so I feel like it's fake news.. but i'm seeing people mention it A LOT A LOT .. I'm confused

Morey changing terms of deals, players finding out they were traded on twitter, telling players they wouldn’t be traded ... Sixers asshurt the Rockets didn’t call them back. GTFO. Serves him/them right.

Simmons did not want to be here either, he was relieved he did not end up coming to Houston.

That's probably the exact reason why you take that deal.

It's nice and all to say "hey, the Pelicans are on the up!". Yes, Brandon Ingram was a great get. They're still a fringe playoff team, and that's because they got Zion. Eiether Zion or Ingram off that squad and its a nice young team, but not amazing in any way.

Stone valued Oladipo's optionality over Simmons "meh-ness".

Not to mention the package of picks is way better than what the Sixers could have offered.

It's certainly possible Tilman 100% wasn't going to trade with Morey and when Stone got the Nets to basically agree to trade every single asset they had then there was no point in calling Philly back.

But even if this reporting is accurate (it might not be), deals like this are almost certainly fluid and can change quickly. If you get that deal from the Nets and go back to try to get more out of Morey then you risk the Nets taking time to think about it and changing their minds.

We don't know what the exact terms were but if Philly was at Simmons and Thybulle that's still a ways to go to get to Simmons, Maxey and 3 unprotected firsts.

My completely uninformed guess is that there was a Morey tax where we'd go with BKN if Stone viewed the offers comparably but would have considered Philly if they'd blown us away.

Seriously... DM can't possibly be upset by this.

He left the Rockets to "take a break" - a like one week break, lol.

That said... its a bad look from the agent perspective... they need to clean it up for that.
