Well it wouldn't be the Rockets without a potential retread several years down the line, those seem to really work out well for us...

I bet he retires in Houston. I mean, he literally built a restaurant. This is his only chance to win now is with KD. Unless you’re on the Lakers, you ain’t coming out of the west. This move is making more sense even though we don’t like it. Tillman isn’t saving anymore money. Then come back to Htown after Lebron retires and win another championship and retire.

To add the commitment to the city, Harden is a partial owner of the Dynamo, Dash, and BBVA stadium. I think his desire to come back to the city is real. Does it happen? who knows. But I think he does feel like this is a 2nd home.

Someone will give Harden another max contract once this one is up. If CP3 can get one with his injury history at that age, Harden can get one too a couple year older.

I believe he actually just opened a new restaurant in Houston in the past 6 months. So I do think he may keep a home in Houston. I have lived in NYC/Manhattan , it is a great city, but both Brooklyn and Manhattan are not what were they were even 5 years ago. A lot has changed with current city leaders, covid, etc. and it seems like the wealthy have been moving down to Florida as they are increasing taxes to a ridiculous amount. Every major bank is considering offices in South Florida for a reason. I can see him having homes in Houston and LA once he retires, not Brooklyn.

LOL. I actually give him the benefit of the doubt that he's not very good at expressing his feelings in a thoughtful way on the spot.

Harden: "So what do you think, a full-page ad in the Chronicle to say thanks and show my appreciation?"

Manager Monbear: "Why spend that much? Just post something on Instagram."

Very un-durv like post who always props up opposing team players and benefit of doubt to media hating on Rockets.

I'm sure the pride runs deep winning for your home state, but I disagree with this statement. How many times has a player gone from "6th Man" to max contract in 1 year with their own team to run from scratch? I'd be he believe he would always have gotten to this point, but I'd also be there's something to be said for the change Morey took on him so early on, giving him full reins immediately.
