Man, you fanboys always find ways to defend Harden. I don't care if it was a bottom-of-the-league roster (it factually isn't); you don't say that kind of **** in public.
Being right or wrong doesn't mean you should say it out to the public. As Perkins said, to come out and say that about your team is plain disrespectful and something you don't do. You can probably count on one hand how many NBA players just openly dissed their teammates talent in public and since you're asking who's wrong or right then was Wall or Cousins wrong in saying Harden half-assed it? Were they wrong in how they explained how he treated the situation? We all saw how he reported to camp late and was partying instead. So from their perspective, they have to wonder where this guy gets off criticizing their play when he didn't even want to be part of the team. You're defending one guy for insulting his teammates and then going after others for saying something back. C'mon bro, Harden farts too and we don't have to say it smells nice. He could have said a million other things to say he wanted out without disrespecting the guys on the team and it's fine for them to feel some kind of way about it.
Can't wait for that beautiful ball movement u harden haters been begging for. Who Is our point guard with Wall out? EGo?
Look at how Watson is handling it versus Harden. Watson could very well come out and say the team is trash, his WRs are trash, his oline is trash, and he doesn't. If he did he'll get walloped from the blind side sure but it's something you just don't do. He's kept all of his stuff private and in rumors.
so when JJ watt whose tenure is much more comparable and been the face of the franchise for years, went off on the texans in his media post game does that apply? He sure didn't keep all that stuff private and in rumors
A player with a real manager might have been advised on how to approach this situation without his already-shaky image taking any further hits. Monbear was asleep on the job.
What good does that do for Watson? Still gonna b stuck in a shtty franchise wasting his talent. Wont b too surprising if he bounce when his contract is up.
Boogie is the last guy to call anyone out for being a bad teammate or behaving selfishly. Wall also should not throw stones in glass houses. EGo responded to Harden's final Rockets media interview with professionalism. Wall and Boogie should learn from this if they really want to be leaders. Perpetuating a lie, that they are as good as Harden's past championship contending teams is stupid AF. If they are this easily shook about the business of NBA then they better hold onto their shorts, because things are going to get a helluva lot worse before it gets better.
Harden and his stans: dish it but can’t take it McHale: Harden’s not a leader How dare he! He’s a clown! Calvin: He quit Calvin’s a pedo & terrible human being! Harden: My team sucks, it can’t be fixed He was just speaking the truth. *shrugs* (Hint: so we’re McHale, Calvin & countless others)
Deshaun watson is 25. Harden is nearing the end of his prime. Who should be more desperate to contend?
Wood gonna have to play point-center tonight?? All our players with PG ability are out, Wall, Gordon, Oladipo...
Lebron said it to Cleveland on ESPN primetime before he left them. You are too sensitive and too easily get your feelings hurt. Put on your big boy pants, slap a band aid on your vag and just prove it on the court. If Boogie can ever stay on the court that is. Is Wall out again too?
Watt used the word 'We' a lot in his rant. "We Stink" and then he dropped this... "And if you can't care enough, even in Week 17, even when you're trash, when you're 4-11. If you can't care enough to go out there and give everything you've got and try your hardest, that's bulls---." So when you're 3-6 and throwing in the towel and partying instead of reporting to camp I'm not so sure if Watt was on that team that he'd be cool about that.
I'm taking it just fine, but I'll dish right back twice as hard. Harden may be gone but nothing on CF has changed.
ok and? message was still the same. the team stinks rockets are getting hammered by 20-30 and have one of the worst records in the league. they've been abysmal on both sides of the ball. he wasn't lying. message is still the same. both stink and both were public post game
Harden is a model teammate then that gets to say whatever he wants about his teammates with impunity? If he wasn't traded then how did his comments make the team better? If he had said nothing at all do you think Wall or Cousins say anything? They were responding to HIS comments.
It's amazing. Harden can diss his teammates but they get criticized for saying anything back. If your opinion is Wall, Cousins, AND Harden were unprofessional, fine...but don't get on them for hitting back.
