Refreshing hearing cooler heads talk about the Harden era and what went down.

BT: “[Harden] led what was probably the greatest Rockets team ever (‘17-‘18). I think that team beats either Rockets championship team, as great as Hakeem was.” @tinman

C: “I don’t think they have anything, maybe Christian Wood?, anything that says this is our foundation for the future.”

BT: “They can open $20M-$25M in cap room if they let Oladipo walk. I don’t know what they do with that cap room. They do have flexibility to open up cap room. They could become a depository for bad contracts.”

The problem is not players , they didn’t make it cause of a coach who didn’t make any adjustments in game 7 at home.

Like how Clutch and I agree on a lot of stuff here, he is way nicer towards Harden but at the end of the day he also thinks the way Harden did this is ****

1. He thinks in a few years Rockets will be glad they did this trade
2. He thinks, Fertits deserves some criticism but this was not entirely on him, hint hint Clutchfans
3. He likes Herro, like I do...

I don’t like the way the Harden era ended, but I’m much less disappointed than I thought I’d be.

I’m going to remember all the great moments (and there were many) that JH provided and just be happy we got to be a part of that amazing run. So many nights we were in awe of James. Time and time again he would top a performance that we thought could not be topped.

Of course I would have liked a title. We were good enough for a year or two, it just wasn’t meant to be.

I’m looking forward to the Rockets future, it will be an interesting build. I’m under the opinion that we need to find that next young star somewhere and it probably won’t be easy to do.

Still, I will be rooting for this team through it all. Here is to hoping we catch lightning in a bottle.
