    TS% (overall scoring efficiency)

    Westbrick : .529
    Olabricko : .536

Below league average efficiency, volume scoring...

    Sure he’s a better defender....

We're using cap space to get more pick for bad contracts.

I have no interest in that talk. Which is why I replied directly to your post in this thread. The one that talked about Oladipo reducing the sting of losing Harden with his low efficiency 20 points.

Except, you know, I didn't say he took off the string solely because he'll replace Harden's offense. I said the trade takes off the sting because he's a decent scorer AND a much better defender. Harden has been absolutely awful on the defensive end this year. Just look at this:

    https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/nba-player-ratings/?player=James Harden&season=2021

Harden is the fifth WORST rated defensive player, whereas VO provides a nice balance of quality offense and defense.

There is no way this is true. Reports say it is MIL's 2022 pick so it is based on Milwaukee's record. I wish it based on Cleveland's record.

You're right. Got my wires mixed up. Cleveland actually traded this pick to the Rockets (acquired from MIL).

Welp, there goes that piece of good news.

It certainly sucks right now going from a fringe championship contender to where we are now but we gotta give Stone at least two years minimum and Silas more that 30 games before we start trippin'.

It certainly will be interested to see how free agents will view the rockets franchise now or if Tilman is going to be the root of all that is bad here and turn players off to coming here.

I got a feeling elite players don't want to play for wannabe Trump owner. Hope I'm wrong but I wouldn't want to play for Fertits.

    It's not a feeling.

    It's reality.

He needs to sell the team.

He will fit in the NFL much better.

He thinks he can afford an NFL team.

He thinks he can afford an NFL and NBA team at the same time.

    HE IS DELUSIONAL.

Honestly, most owners are Trump wannabes and Trump supporters.

The problem with Tilman is how public and outgoing he is about his support for Trump.

Why acquire Oladipo? He's gone and you won't get anything in return - why would Miami offer up much for a player they can sign in a few months?

Do we even know what was on the negotiation table to do this kind of discussion?

    - LeVert is injury prone too, always been since his college days
    - Oladipo is still the better player cause while they're similar offensively, Oladipo is by far a better defender and overall more proven player
    - teams that won't have cap space (pretty much all the good teams) will still value having Oladipo's bird rights in order to resign him over the cap so, him being expiring doesn't mean it's necessarily a bad thing, not for most of the contenders who will likely have interest in him
    - if LeVert got traded for Oladipo and a 2nd rounder that means his market value wasn't really different from Dipo's one even if he's expiring and LeVert is on a three year deal

In the end, it's LeVert or Oladipo plus cap space, and cap space can mean signing another Wood or get picks back from team to take on bad contracts.

Honestly I think it's because Tilman knew who Victor Oladipo was, but not Caris LeVert.

The only rational explanation I can come to. None of it makes sense.
