Bam + Jimmy + the dead cap for Ryan Anderson (lol) + 10 vet min salary cap holds basically would get them close to max room. They can easily make the room if they want but with the lower projected cap number they basically have to renounce all their cap holds, lose all the players they have on team options, and trade players like Herro and Precious. Would be a lot easier and better for overall roster construction just to make a trade with us if they want Dipo at a near max deal, which they might not.
Goggles, the same thing you said in the attached post. That has nothing to do with talking about him. I literally made a trade scenario for him. You over value Herro, you have been since his name popped up. He’s a nice piece, could turn into something better if given a chance. But he’s just as likely to be a number 2 or 3 on a team.
I don't see how Miami trades Herro for Oladipo when they can just sign him in free agency or do a cheap sing & trade, and adding Tucker wouldn't be enough to change that, although i guess it could make the scenario more interesting. I'd be more then ok if we can get a 1st rounder for Dipo though.
