he has plenty of value if the rockets decide to move him. plenty of teams would love to have dipo. he isn't westbrick on a supermax.
I It's game 9. Every star thinks their team is good enough to contend...well every star except Harden.
it's not even talking about through game 9. he's loved his team since hes gotten there and it made it that much closer once they reached the finals. Butler was one of the biggest reasons dragic decided to stay. well harden is 100% right. this team stinks.
He'll be a commodity near the trade deadline .... some team just needs to think they are a SG away from a deep playoff run. If you can flip him for a first round pick & a TPE or a couple younger players on lower contracts .... that's not a bad return to add to the 4 picks & 4 swaps you already landed.
And they just made the NBA finals a mere few months ago. The Heat are hardly wasting any of Butler's prime.

I think this misses the context that Dipo wanted to be in Miami before this trade and there were never any rumors of him being traded to Houston.

bingo. highest pick preferred, not most picks. we've got a haul but I want quality picks not more quantity. lets get a fringe playoff team to give us their pick in the hopes they make the playoffs but they won't and we end up with a late lotto pick next offseason. looking at Knicks, wolves, grizzlies, pels....
No I didn’t miss that part. You must have missed the part where picks would go to them too. Expiring deal is an asset in itself. It’s really dependent on how well Dipo plays. If he comes in and plays like he did 2 years ago, he is a valuable asset.
