I didn't hate it then and don't hate it now. This is a better draft haul than the one the Celtics got from the Nets and nearly built a dynasty with before having some bad luck.

It might work out and it might not. But we've got a lot more raffle tickets than we did before making it.

Tilman. This was the same crap platter EVERYONE hated before the season and the worst part we didn’t even end up with Lavertt.

Kyrie buying in is always a tentative, precarious thing that could evaporate any day for seemingly no reason.

Losers of the trade -- the strip clubs of Houston. Covid ain't got nothing on Harden.

That's a fair take. I personally thought the Nets offer was terrible back then and am now ambivalent to it now. Reason being - the rockets loss all leverage once the Harden situation got to where it is now.

Perhaps those picks will amount to something or perhaps no other team was offering anything remotely close. The rockets had to move on from the Harden era. The Rockets knew it and worst... everyone else did also.

The nets pupu platter ended up being better than what we actually got.

we need to flip tucker for a pick and oladipo for something once he’s eligible

Tilman is the biggest winner easily, followed by Harden, followed by Brooklyn. **** Tilman.

"Rockets fans - because new era?" as a choice is the saddest thing ever.

    1) It's the only choice in the poll relevant to the Rockets.
    2) It has a question mark after the choice, so we can't even be sure about the choice.
    3) The only thing we have to be excited about is apparently it being a new 'era'

Harden was the clear winner. He got exactly what he asked for. The Rockets lost. They wanted a star-level player, multiple picks and/or young talent. They got Oladipo and picks. No Brown, no MPJ or Murray. Not even McCollum. All they've done is replace the picks they gave away in foolish earlier trades, and it cost them James Harden to do it.

Tucker and Oladipo would be good for a team who thought they were close. Not sure who that is. Philly obviously but dingleberry won't deal with them and not sure if they even have many picks left. Phoenix?

Dipo is in an expiring contract, and most of those picks will be garbage.

And of the picks that won't be garbage, if we don't hit on 100% of them...

People are cheering on draft picks.

The problem is, the Rockets don't have their own to package with the others to move in 4 of the next six years.

we traded LeVert, Allen and Prince for an expiring contract of a player who doesn't want to be here and a first round pick from a team that will be top 3 in the East for the next decade.

LeVert, Allen, Prince, 3 FRP, 4 Swaps sounds a lot better than Oladipo, 4 FRP, 4 Swaps and a bunch of expiring.

Everytime he comes into town to play it's going to be like Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the tax free back to school holiday all rolled into one for the strip clubs.

The real winners are (in specific orders) :

Tucker - he will definitely be traded, probably to a contender also
EG - will be dumped for a bag of chips
Cousins - most like will ask for a release before deadline unless he sucks so much.
