so......just to pile on a bad trade, we gave up allen and prince for exum and milwaukee pick, and lavert for victor. Three bad trades in one day has to be a franchise record.

Good trade if we can dump everyone else by next year. All in for Emoni Bates that kid is the next big thing. Dipo, Wall, Gordon, Pj, House have to be gone ASAP. Rebuild the right way. Why would we want any of the other loose parts in the trade? What are we gonna do with Allen? Whats the value of being an 8th seed? Might as well be the absolute worst team in the league.

As a fan, I wouldn't even get bogged down with thinking about hypotheticals regarding injuries. Their depth is crushed and it really takes one star going down for that to happen.

And they have multiple weak egos as leaders on that team.

I actually like the Kurucs pickup. He should be able to see some minutes at SF given our lack of size at that position.

But you could've had oladipo AND whatever you can get for flipping dimwidee.

    Agreed about preferring Simmons/Maxey.

I'm not trying to hate on this trade, since its the inevitable result of the Harden drama the Rockets had to deal with the past few days and weeks... but lets not pretend that this trade was not the same one (but lesser version) everyone disdained back in NOV.

I wanna watch Harden-Durant-Irving play the Lebron-Davis Lakers in the NBA Finals. That's going to be sweet!

Rockets are in the beginning of a multi-year rebuild...which was all but inevitable anyway.

Good trade! At least much better than the Simmons one.
We get so many good picks and pick swaps.
It would be better without Oladipo but now let's hope he can get healthy, recuperate his value and get traded for more picks.

@treyk3 turns out your source is a gem. :)

Pick swaps are useless, as we will have a worse record.
The 3 Brooklyn picks are going to be low first rounders (easier to buy a high second rounder)
The Cleveland pick is from Milwaukee, which will also be a low first.
    Exum/Kurucs are garbage
Oladipo is maxed out potential wise

We just handed Brooklyn the championship. The drama queen got what he wanted by whining. Why not trade his ass to Toronto or Cleveland. Terrible deal.
