With the doom and gloom gone, looks like the team will be more fun to watch, even if they're not competing for a playoff spot.

How excited are you about the pieces that are now on the Rockets and the future possibilities with those picks

Also props for Stone/Tillman to pull this off and end up with a promising future talent package, not sure Morey would've pulled off something this good

What pieces? There’s Christian Wood and a bunch of picks of unknown value. This was the worst trade for excitement in the immediate future. It could possibly unfold well down the road. My brain thinks it’s better than getting Simmons however.

Not very. Won't be exciting for a few years. Hopefully they draft right. Going to have to be some steals since the picks will most likely be in the late 20s.

I think some of you are gloomy over Harden being gone. The Rockets franchise is not in a middling position anymore. The best place to start is Square 1. Getting rid of Morey firstly and any traces of him (Harden) is a GOOD THING. The Rockets franchise are in good hands with Tillman and Stone and they will develop the young guys well and cash in on the cap room and picks nicely. Rox future looks good

We didn’t get young star. So, nothing to be excited about. We really need to be in the bottom four, so I won’t be too excited if the win games.

Very Excited, especially to see Wood's potential, especially with Harden feeding him as much as he has lately. Telling you, Harden bout to turn Wood into an all star....

Credit for what? The rockets didn't get ****. We have all been debating over which promising young piece we preferred, and we ended up not getting one at all. We get picks from the nets and the bucks. Are you really that excited for a bunch of picks between 25-30? It's likely none of those picks turn into an nba player.

    What credit?

Oladipo is the biggest piece of the return, but he's still a complete unknown with his knee. And we're pairing him with two Achilles tears in John Wall and Demarcus Cousins. Oladipo is also expiring, so it's still too early to tell what's going to happen with that. You know he's going to want a big contract if he plays well this year, so the Rockets are going to have to pay big to keep him. And if he doesn't play well this year, then we'll have traded Harden for Exum, Kurucs and picks.

Speaking of Exum and Kurucs. Exum is a complete bust. He spent many years in Utah and they couldn't get anything out of him. Cleveland couldn't get anything out of him. He's not going to suddenly become a good basketball player 8 years after entering the NBA.

Kurucs hit a sophomore slump or something last year, and his stats were worse than his rookie year. Too early to tell, but I think he's going to be a bust, also.

The Milwaukee 1st is a low first round pick, since the Bucks will be good. Everything else literally depends on the implosion of the Nets. If they do well, we're SOL. If everything is negative for them, we're good. But to have your future determined by another team's success (or lackthereof) is really bad.

So remind us again - what, about this deal, has you on the Tilman/Stone train? Because I'm not seeing it.
