if you dont like the haul... talk to yer boy Blames... he's the one thats been driving down his value and forcing hands... I'm good with whatever we got just to be rid of this narcissistic douche!
Looking forward to Harden's inevitable full-page "Thank you, Houston!" ad in the Chronicle. And unless he hires a real manager before then, it will likely be pretty tone-deaf.
Also what the Rockets do with the huge cap space they opened up. If we are smart we can take on bad contracts for more draft picks.
he's not and this was an ass trade. If Brooklyn wins a title especially in the second year, those picks are worthless.
If Oladipo is healthy it doesn’t seem like we are tanking then. I see a lot of blow it up and trade Gordon, Wall, Tucker etc but this roster can make the playoffs switching Victor for James. Not a contender though.
Victor is a good player avg 20pts. 4 first rounders is huge in the long run. I like it. Harden had his chance here and only has a few years. Locker room was trash and this organization needs a reset. Long term rox are looking good.
The way this has played out, I already wanted what ever team Harden went to, to fail. But OMG with 8 years of unprotected picks, if Brooklyn does fail, we could inherit great picks for years to come. Nets are by far now the team I wish to fail the most.
I was born in Houston and raised in New York and Brooklyn is my second team as long as they arent playing the Rockets. I was so ready to be done with Harden and so confident he wouldnt come to New York I was wrong. I love that the Rockets are getting Oladipo and a ridicuous amount of picks. They need to trade Tucker next and get another big man.
I think Kyrie could be a Westbrook for them. Sharing the ball is going to be a challenge for them. Not inconceivable they wont even be that good this year.
