    Get ya popcorn ready

Now we just need to stop having fans go to games and stop buying merchandise from the team shop. Hurt Tilmans pockets and maybe he might sell?

Which would you prefer If it's - ben simmons + cap filler (1 pick) vs all possible picks + levert, dimwidee, allen...

“The Nets have prepared a package for Harden featuring all four future first round picks and three future pick swaps.

Houston has sought a package from the 76ers built around Ben Simmons with Matisse Thybulle also on their wish list. Philadelphia's desire to give up one or multiple first round picks is unclear.”

@J.R. we're waiting for you to do the honors. I suggest "the end is near" as a thread title ;)

Lmfao, I'm not an insider, real or fake. This was from a real life friend who for some reason heard this from a direct source.

what doesn't make sense is, why the hell would ANYONE want kyrie right now ? the guy won't even show up to work with no explanation, not even to his coach. doesn't matter how talented he is if he won't even play or is just going to randomly disappear for weeks at a time. no way pat riley would want a player like that over Herro.

Ironically to a rebuilding team the most valuable picks are your own. Helping another team contend with Harden and taking their picks back is just doubling down on a bad return. We need a dance partner who has someone else's projected lottery picks.

I can't wait until I forget that I ever heard the name Monbear. Anyone's mom (or internet-claiming-to-be-mom) running a Twitter PR campaign is total cheese.

Can someone post the article? I love that Brooklyn sounds like they are going all in. Can only help our negotiating position. As others have mentioned, they may end up being our best return if we can get 3-4 picks and multiple pick swaps since Durant and Harden likely only have a couple of more years together. Still can't fully get talked into a Nets trade until I see the final return but you could flip Lavert and/or Allen to a 3rd team and get more assets or young pieces. Could also get Dinwiddie even though he is a free agent and hurt. Would we have his bird rights? Could sign him to a reasonable contract while he is injured to be a decent asset moving forward? I would send the Nets Gordon to get off his contract and possibly Tucker if it nets us an extra asset.

Sad it has come to this but the league has changed so drastically these last couple of years with the 3 point shooters that are also 6' 7' and above that can also D up and get rebounds. We just don't have the personnel to compete with the Lakers for the next 2 years so as much it sucks to trade Harden, realistically it was likely headed to this since the ultimate goal of getting a championship was dashed when we pulled the trigger on the Paul/Westbrook trade. Better to get ultimate value now while James has 2-3 years left on his contract rather than 1 or 2 as teams will likely offer less. Sad that this is happening but there is nothing stopping it now as much as some of us like Harden.

I can’t see the Nets trading Kyrie along with the other assets to just land Harden. I have a bad feeling we will get their pu pu platter so they can have their big 3 and a butt load of picks.

In other words welcome back to the 14th pick as we desperately hope we land a star in the draft. Year after year of dreaming of how we can package our pick and the Nets pick to move into the lottery to no avail....

Still not enough for Harden. Need some legitimate players. Levertt and Allen for starters.
