I just don't see how any part of the Nets' deal can include someone I'd consider a "centerpiece." There'd have to be a third team involved.
If we take back Kyrie in any trade, I actually will be done with the Rockets. Kyrie is a flake, not dependable and overrated.
Yes, while Kyrie is a hell of a player IMO, he is not the return we would want for Harden. Would there even be a 3rd team that would give up assets for Kyrie at this point due to his low give a **** attitude? If he was showing up and Brooklyn was looking to upgrade Kyrie for Harden, Kyrie would likely be a pretty good asset to flip to a 3rd team. I still don't really know which teams could use him as their PG? The Spurs maybe? Not sure what they would really be able to offer. I thought the Spurs were linked to Kyrie at one point. The Knicks would probably give up some assets for Irving assuming he shows up to play which is a big assumption. Either way, he has already killed what little trade value he may have had and I definitely don't want him anywhere near the Rockets even though he is a great talent.
Kyrie is done, he’s flaked out multiple times. Now the team he wanted and chose can’t find him. He’s talented but has a few screws loose. Plus he’s not young at this point, if we’re blowing it up, blow it up and get youth and picks imo.
there’s a chance Kyrie wouldn’t even report to the team if he was traded here...he is that unpredictable
Katya Henry latest post confirms she is thick and therefore will want to be in Houston with Herro. #Sauces
Kyrie being moved in a 3 way deal is pretty big...if Kyrie was still playing basketball. I imagine a ton of teams would love Kyrie...if he decided to play and I could see teams like Kings, Magic, whoever, in play there and we could get a really good haul. Guess it just depends on whatever the hell is going on with Kyrie and if teams will roll the dice on it.
The deal with Irving, I can’t see any team giving up real value for him. The guy is a legit mess, he signed with the team he wanted after demanding out on the Cavs, ghosting the Celtics, Durant joined in BKN, Durant gets healthy this year playing really well, and Kyrie just decides he’s gonna stop playing mid season his 2nd year in. Unless someone died and he’s grieving really hard, what circumstances would excuse this stuff? Maybe Miami gives up Herro, but no way Raps, Nuggets, 76ers... or just anybody else taking that gamble in my eyes
I think everyone needs to prepare for disappointment. I don't see a good offer from either Brooklyn or Philly.
