James Harden: “I’ve done everything for the city, but I don’t think it can be fixed”

I’ve never seen anyone say something like this. He has a weak mind which is why he falls under pressure.

harden has not been playing up to par at all.

 

He's very sulky.

 

The roster took a five when Harden demanded they break up the best team in franchise history to flip CP3 for Westbrook.... there's not a lot you can do when your best player forces you to trade for the worst contract in the league

 

I knew this would happen. He wants out. He’s unhappy. It doesn’t matter how hard a person tries of you are unhappy at work it will show. They should have dealt him before the season.

 

He didn't say he is or isn't leaving, but can anyone disagree with what he's actually saying about the current team that it's not top titer and not easily fixable?

CP3 had a down year, sure... then he bounced back and took the Thunder to their best winning percentage since they had KD....and Westbrook made the Rockets worse just like everyone with a brain knew he would.

Thats what Harden did to the franchise, he blew up the team and started the downward spiral due to who he is as a person.

its true he gave an ultimatum of trading Paul or him. he broke up that team because of chemistry issues. however, morey stated he wasn't planing on trading either and wanted to work things out over the offseason until Patrick forced the deal through. blame on both sides here.

I think the team is trying to marginalize him as well. If he truly doesn't want to play, why put good efforts on the defensive end? Clearly he is not allowed to be the guy who takes the most shots anymore.

 

If they refused, Harden would have just pulled this BS a year earlier, the problem is who Harden is as a person. His personal shortcomings undercut his talent.

 

At the end of the day, the team is just simply not that good and is nowhere close to contention. He knows he can try to average 33-35 again and carry this heavy burden to drag the team to a decent record and a playoff appearance, but what is the point? It will just be another year wasted.

team is filled with low skill guys that can’t shoot and teams don’t even try to guard so they can double him all game and clog the paint...John Wall can’t really shoot...EG gets worse every year...Silas is a rookie HC...we all know this team isn’t gonna do anything of note

 

neithe chris paul or westbrook were the problem. Both teams could have gotten the job done if they didnt get shorted on role players or played gimmickball to make up for it
