no, u overestimated the team...hilarious u think this roster ever gave him any chance of contention, let alone his best chance he’s been trying for 8 years...if he went superhero mode and carried this team to the playoffs yet again, it would be a 1st round exit
MVP caliber player. Scoring leader every year. 5-10 games won’t kill his value. He can suck for the rest of the year. All teams will be coming for him.
Harden playing like a superstar is not gonna make Christian Wood a better defender, make Gordon a better shooter, make PJ actually score more than 0 points in 30+ minutes, make Danuel House less horny, etc All it does is delay the inevitable, which is this team has no chance to beat the Lakers.
Continuing to try and milk something that obviously doesn’t work and have someone who doesn’t want to be here does nothing beneficial for this organization. It only brings down everyone else as well. It’s way pass time to move on. Folks need to lose the hang on to him logic. It makes no sense
that was his intention to not try and get traded. This organization won’t win **** this year or the next 3-4 years. I don’t like a player forcing the trade. Wait till someone is desperate. It’s his job to go out and play. The culture of the team is whatever, been like that since Morey was let go.
The not trying is nonsense as well. This team sucks. He’s done. There’s no turning back or fixing. People who want to see Sunday and tonight’s game over and over and over sure are strange just bc you can’t move on from someone who clearly doesn’t want to be here anymore
Let me know how you feel about Jarrett Allen and 2 first round Picks. I don’t believe Stone will find a good deal.
Well see what’s out there but at this point he’ll be traded sooner rather than later. He won’t make it to the end of the season. I’ll be surprised if he makes it to the AS break
yeah, a chance to get slapped in the 1st round u really think this team ever had a chance to come anywhere close to contention...wow it was a mid-bottom seed playoff team that would lose in the 1st round or might win a hard fought 1st round series and get destroyed by a contender in the 2nd round at absolute best all those major weaknesses are still there, and Harden would need to average 35 again just to try and cover them up Harden’s burden is that he needs to average at least 30 ppg for the season, or the Rockets are a lottery team
There isn't another NBA team with Playoff aspiration that would play all three of David Nwaba, Jaesean Tate and Sterling Brown in the rotation. I guarantee you Harden doesn't know who any of these guys were last year.
If Harden was a superstar like Lebron, the sky would be the limit, but he's just a pathetic quitter, always has been.
