Harden is our ticket to going the Boston route and loading up on picks. It's our only hope for a not depressing future if we can get a little lucky on one of them.
The only 2 things effecting his value outside of something catastrophic are 1) beal’s situation 2) his contract. If he makes it past the deadline and wants out the return is not gonna be great & it directly relates to beal in some ways because beal has a player option after next season, so essentially next season he’s on a 1 year deal. Miami, Boston, Denver are just among 3 of the teams who will be after beal and after harden. I don’t think you guys should let harden get to 1 year on his deal regardless of beal but that won’t help either.
Do you eat the limes after squeezing them too? Harden is at the end of his prime. He will never be the best player on a Finals team. The time to sell is now before teams figure that out.
like I said, enjoy whatever we happen to get back, and we’ll see how quick it takes for people to turn on whoever ends up coming here
Pistons, Kings, Wolves, Suns, Hornets, etc. are fair examples. But it’s not a coincidence that teams like the Thunder, Nuggets, Spurs, Warriors, and Heat continuously hit on their draft picks despite not having a top 5 pick. It’s not impossible — we just need to have a good scouting department and eye for talent.
At this point we don't have a choice. JAMES is the one who wants leave. You got any other info that says otherwise?
OKC was better though. GSW also got Steph, Klay and Donkey from the draft. Wiseman. OKC can stay afloat trading away almost all their players.
obviously he wants to leave, I never said otherwise...as for those who have wanted him gone for years and act like the Harden era has been so bad, enjoy whatever little pieces we happen to get back in the trade
I am a true homer and I don't think this team can compete. Only hope is that they figure things out. It is understandable that they don't have chemistry but I doubt it will make then good enough to compete with lakers
I am surprised there is not a bigger uproar about rather harden is good or a product of dantonis offense.
I don't think we get that because the Sixers are doing just fine. I think Harden's value is the same as it was. Teams just think he's checked out because he wants out. AD wasn't really lighting up the world before he was traded either. It happens sometimes. Even if Harden is out there trying it may still be that part of him is checked out, doesn't care, and moved on.
