Two colleagues who both got their second Pfizer dose. Got hit by a truck around 12 hours later. Chills, fatigue, headache, pretty strong flu-like symptoms from the second dose.

This news is about 7 days old, but is relevant. I really hope we don't start doing half doses. If we do, it would be for political reasons and not for medical/science reasons. If the distribution is **** then fix the distribution; don't misuse the damn miracle vaccine ffs.

    FYI for Texas Vaccines:

Due to a change in the strategy by the (Texas) state vaccine distribution allocation panel, the state is now focusing on creating large vaccination sites in more populous cities and newer sites in rural areas.

Translation: the state changed it's strategy completely and threw all hard-developed vaccine avenues into chaos

I ended up lucking into the Moderna one by going with my mom. No issues besides a sore arm for 36-48 hours

People should check here until appointments open up again.

Still searching. Excited to hear the White House has been lying about the number of vaccines available the whole time.

I was able to sign up my parents yesterday through the Walgreens on airline. Keep clicking until a slot opens up. Also sign up for the text notification from the city of Houston. As someone else posted earlier you have about 15 to 20 min to sign up before they all fill up.

Got my 2nd Pfizer shot last Friday. Sore arm after both shots, same side effect I get from the flu shot. Took Aleve Friday night and again Saturday. No other issues.

Not feeling terrible after Pfizer booster yesterday. My arm ached pretty bad last night but I killed it with ibuprofen and naproxen sodium. I also was slightly cold in my bones, which was a weird sensation.

I just talked to my buddy today and same thing happened to him, but around 24 hours later...Lasted for about a day, then he's ok. My assumption is it's like the flu shot, where they introduce some strands so your body can develop an immune system...

Also, he's younger but got it as he registered for alerts for the city of Houston and jumped on it. My parents, who are in Brazoria county, and are older and qualify, can't get it. The chase is right...
