Tua, pick no.3 along with their own 1st round pick this year plus their 2nd rounder, next year's first and second plus the following year's first and second for Deshaun and Tunsil. Geesh what a clownshow
Its obvious that somebody from the Dolphins has allowed this to go forward... if they were truly sold on Tua, and loved him, it would be pretty damning to have your beloved franchise QB's name be tossed around in trade scenarios right now, and they should be equally mad at Mortensen if none of it is true. On the flip side, I guarantee that Deshaun Watson isn't simply blaring out "trade me to Miami!" where a team already has a young QB in place. Had they listed teams desperate for a QB like the Jets or Patriots, then I'd probably believe some of it... but right now, this is all stemming from the likelihood that Miami wants to explore options for Tua vs. anything coming directly from Watson.
And this playoffs has now shown that the Steelers will likely need a new QB, Drew Brees is likely done after this year, the Colts need a new QB, the Bears need a new QB, and the Rams... despite winning... likely are ready for a new QB. It’s that hard, even if you’re a playoff team, to have a locked in above average-to-elite QB. Hopefully Cal and the idiot brigade will figure out how not to screw this up further.
Its bigger than that I think. Teams like Baltimore, Tenn, Indy, KC, Miami, Buff have all rebuilt and competed well in the last 20 years
What is with the media's extreme hate for Houston sports it's like they find something with each organization take it and blow it up more than it is, I've seen reports that caserio is a great hire and the same few people saying it was a terrible hire, media is straight trash bad news run with it and good news don't report it
How about letting caserio do his thing and see how it plays out then making judgement based on results instead of jumping the gun and automatically assuming it's not going to work out
The media is reporting what all of us Texans fans have known for quite some time. And would love to hear some of that good news that the media is refusing to report.
I personally see the reports of unhappiness with in the organization but I do believe that like someone said earlier "cooler heads will prevail" speak with the cornerstones of our team get them aboard with our vision and let's hopefully ride this wave to a super bowl
