    Maybe Harden's better? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Look my friend, once Harden is gone the rebuild will be in full swing. No one wants to "ROOT" for a 30 year old guard that's been swept 3 times and isn't the lead dog on that team. We'd rather play the long game on some young talent and draft picks.

You're not taking into account that Harden almost won the opener against Portland on his own without Wall, Mac, Gordon and Cousins whereas CJ had Damion, Nurkic, Covington with him. CJ would have fought hard, but Harden is way more versatile than him, especially when it comes to passing the ball.
CJ is a good player, but your bias is clearly showing here.

Mac, Cousins, and Gordon are trash players. Less Wall meant less Harden which is a good thing, right?

You're obviously a Blazer fan, why do you want to trade CJ?

CJ would slide into Harden's role and Blazers would toss in Little, Simons, and Collins or Gary Trent Jr. There is your young talent.

    REALLY?

Maybe if you threw in 5 unprotected first round picks starting in 2023.

    So, 2023, 2025,2027,2029, 2031.

Lol! CJ would have collapsed on his own. Every role player brings value, even when they're not at their best.

Openers are fun to watch but you have to be consistent.

Even last season, Harden had 2 months of mediocre play and Russell WB took over.

    How soon people forgot.

I would go for total rebuild though.

Get a younger CJ or younger Harden lite through the draft.

CJ doesn't make sense in 5 years.

That's what we should focus on.

    Give us picks, Adam Silver.

**** you guys for having a 7 page thread on CJ McCollum

Lets start one for Tobias Harris while we’re at it.

If the big get is a older non all star player on a max contract for James Harden, we failed miserably. There is nothing Portland could offer for James short of Lillard, and that would make no sense for the Blazers to execute considering Hardens contract situation. Harden to Portland is DOA, Nets have a more attractive offer (and their offer is dog ****)

Harden for CJ is even worse than Kawhi for Demar, and look at the Spurs since that trade...

CJ is much better than DeMar and Harden will never be close to the player Kawhi is. Everyone always says Harden should've won MVP in 2017 (I agree he was better than Westbrook) but it actually should've gone to Kawhi who led his team to 60+ wins on both sides of the floor.

We'll talk after the season. CJ had a hot start over Dame Lillard, good for him.

He was also good in the bubble.

Harden would never let a 3-1 lead slip with that Clippers team. Also, his best season with the Spurs still doesn't come close to Harden's best season with the Rockets. In one season, Harden had no CP3, Capela and Gordon for a combined total of 45 games and got us to 4th. He basically had to carry us with a G League team. Kawhi would never have done that. Harden has never had the talent around him as Kawhi has.

Kawhi has rested in the majority of the seasons he's played in. He's only had 2 seasons where he's played 70 plus games. So, he should be performing in the playoffs. Harden has never had a season where he's played under 70 games for the Rockets. The only season he did was last season, and that was because of COVID. That proves that Kawhi can sit out because of the talent around him. Harden has had to play the number of games he has because the Rockets needed him due to not having the best talent around him.

The fact you're stating Harden isn't close to Kawhi shows you have no clue what you're talking about.

CJ with 30 points and the game winner tonight. Also 0 turnovers. He currently has a 5:1 assist/to ratio and he's Top 8 in steals. Top 4 in scoring of course. Rockets fans would love the guy.

If he’s so good why wouldn’t the Blazers just keep him?

Trading for CJ would be a huge mistake, this guy has peaked and plateaued, he'll never be an all star in the West.

There is a reason the Blazers have had such a shitty defense year in and out and CJ is one of the main reasons. CJ+Dame are both minus defenders that's why the Blazers will never go anywhere even if they make the playoffs.

He can score no doubt but when he's having an off-night, he has no passing vision and is basically just a liability on the court. Although, I guess if you like his podcast we'll finally get someone on the team who does a weekly podcast we can tune into, lmao.

He’s playing well to start the season. Would you trade harden for him? Lol NO. Maybe if you include Lillard. Don’t be stupid please
