I love that Watson cares shows he’s committed. And now with Caserio in the building things are going to be different.
So, basically if they promise something, hold them to it. Stick to your guns Deshaun. You care. You are the savior we Texans fans need. Change the culture. I don't think he wants out. I think he's trying to hold the owner accountable, and he knows this is the only leverage he has. He knows the fans won't turn on him. Kid is smart. Deshaun is trying to outdo JJ as the greatest Texan. If he can pull this off, we'll put a statue up. I'm sure JJ has told him to learn from his career, and I think Deshaun will do that. This is all my gut feeling, and I hope it's true. It would make sense.
Makes a lot of sense and I would agree. The kid is just special and fully committed to being legendary. You gotta love it. We actually have a great football mind in the front office now and some could argue the greatest the Texans have ever had in the front office. Remember the media all but hinted that JJ got O'Brien fired. I think Deshaun did too. JJ is the kind of guy that will teach Deshaun to learn from what happened to him. I'm sure he's been in his ear about this. Now, you take away the input you said he'd have and replace it with Patriots South redux, that Watson just got through exterminating? There's a story here. Reading between the lines it's Watson trying to get away from New England retreads. It's Watson making sure that we don't hire McDaniels. Most importantly, I think it's Watson trying to get rid of Easterby. If he pulls this off and then stays with the team, it's one of the most significant moves in franchise history. Big fan of this if I'm reading the tea leaves correctly.
DeShaun ain't trying to waste his prime with the Texans after seeing what ownership has done to pretty much everyone of its player stars, which is waste their careers with bad front office and coaching hires. I don't blame him. Just like Harden, trade him for valuable assets if it comes down to it, try to hold onto him as much as you can though.

Why, Apparently Caserio is getting to hire his guy as HC and Watson , who wanted EB isn't getting his way. Kind of childish if you ask me. Time to move on if you get a great trade offer.
