Honestly find it amazing your conduct here. This act is one of a series of acts that show a pattern of sedition, subversion, and insurrection not only from these gangs of white supremacists, proud boys, alt-righters, QAnon, and a variety of violent looney tunes conspiracy theorists but also from within the government from the President himself on down to Senators and Congressmen and even the police. The certification of the election is not merely ceremony, it's a Constitutionally required action to allow for the transfer of power from one President to another. The President and these terrorists attempted to stop the certification. Guns were drawn and shots fired to protect Senators and Congressmen from armed terrorists with zip ties who broke into the Capitol fully ready to kidnap Senators. This was every bit an attempted coup.
Certification had already happened by the states, but yes the voting counting by Congress is a required and important final step. Didn't mean to suggest otherwise.
she’s lucky that’s all she got if this was BLM, rubber bullets might have hit those eyes instead of mace
No one in the media is calling it an attempted coup. I apologize for calling them protestors and not rioters. I really didn't know how bad it was till later last night . I was at work and I had a phone issue an no one i was working with apparently knew either. Not calling it a coup is not an attempt to not address how bad yesterday was. And yes there is double standard by law either in terms of race. I see one of our resident right wingers calling it a riot so that's good. In terms of the double standard I do think law enforcement was caught off guard. More than a double standard the bigger issue is overall security at the Capitol
Yeah, I could post some more like these. I'll excuse you from not following anything anywhere. Assault on democracy: Sen. Josh Hawley has blood on his hands in Capitol coup attempt Capitol Police firings imminent after ‘attempted coup,’ top appropriator warns This Is a Coup Rep. Adam Kinzinger declares US Capitol chaos 'a coup attempt' Donald Trump's American carnage ends with a coup attempt The violence at the Capitol was an attempted coup. Call it that
Who gives a ****. Its not a coup. I was gonna go through each one individually but it's not a coup. It was a riot. Get a life. You and the other dick rider who alerted me are still wrong.
Another @pgabriel genius post. Lol. "I don't see the media calling it a coup" Proven wrong. "Who gives a ****" Come on man lol.
My bad for not taking into account the thousands of media outlets. I didn't prove me wrong. Some of those links are quotes from none media people
I don't even know how you get on the internet each day. It must be like a dog searching for truffles in a mudslide.
Seriously, review the beer hall putsch. In some ways these clowns were much better organized, and nobody has issue calling that an attempted coup. They took over a beer hall, declared Bavaria free, didn't know what do do and just marched... with no destination in mind until the cops showed up, started shooting, and everybody ran away and hid. Being bad at being a criminal is not an affirmative defense against charges. Hitler went to jail for treason.
CBS News reporting on heightened security: —— Tom Warrick, a former Department of Homeland Security counterterrorism official, said the Capitol riot was a textbook definition of domestic terror. "An assault on the Capitol in an attempt to disrupt the federal election by the counting of the electoral ballots really is an act of domestic terrorism and really needs to be condemned as such by everyone,” Warrick said. “Everyone except @durvasa. He’s a tough nut to crack.” https://www.cbsnews.com/news/us-capitol-riot-fears-new-attacks-pro-trump-mob/
