I totally agree with this, problem is everything is broken. Romney, Cruz.. Who is not corrupt? From both sides the corruption is absolutely overwhelming.
I don't and never idolized Trump, I don't feel sorry for him either nor am I going to rage a civil war for a millionaire who has never had to struggle the way I have. I did like he was not a professional politician, I do hate somewhere along the lines some of us got lost in the reality of things. Sort of like defending Harden even thou we know the man is fat and does not want to be here but he is still our guy. The media may bash him but we know facing GS over and over again is very hard to do. Trump, at the end needed humility. People died, is he to blame? Not entirely, not even close. But he could have saved those lives, no one would have ever known that he did and I guess that was the problem. Just a damn shame.

Just Googling it, looks like there is much more legitimate debate than for some of the other whacky pardon things he was looking at, like pardoning himself. Its pretty much unresolved, and I see online people making arguments around English common law practices from hundreds of years ago.

I imagine if he wants, he'll find an enabler who will tell him he can and he'll dare the Supreme Court to rule otherwise.

I get it though. It's fine for minorities to riot, loot, kill people to "protest." If you are a white trump supporter and one person who gets shot is an idiot that's protesting, it's deplorable.

I'm not happy about what these people did, and I wasn't happy when BLM "protesters" were looting, burning, and ruining people's lives. Last I checked, a lot more people died from BLM protests than died yesterday in DC, but one is lauded and the other is shameful.
