The movement of Harden is not going to happen because it cut the overall value of the franchise. The franchise is not owned out right. Cutting the value of something leveraged is like throwing money away twice. Now and later.

This. His predictability although efficient most of the time is what kills him in the end. The most frustrating thing is he actually can operate in the midrange, he just doesn't look for that anymore. This is the main reason I've wanted the rockets to pull the trigger on a trade sooner than later. We all know how this story ends every year. The odds are stacked against harden with his style and ability. Let's build for the future guys. You guys are getting fooled by the same regular season stats harden has put up every year. I’m far from angry. But accusing an athlete of quitting for losing a game is a bit much especially from a former Rocket. Now if Harden hears this and attacks Calvin on his personal scandal, folks would say James was wrong and it would be a HUGE STORY. Calvin is living in a glass house and really should choose his words more carefully.
How does Harden only get to the line 4 times in 39 minutes? That’s got to be close to an all-time low for him. Edit: I actually checked, and he’s had fewer before, but not very often. Only 3 times all of last year.
Mid range is not the reason we havent been successful, I dont know how many stats, films, interviews whatever someone has to post for you guys to understand that.
There were also only six games last year where he took fewer shots. Is this part of the new offense, or was James just not engaged? I didn’t get to watch the game so I don’t know, but either way it’s concerning.
