Crazy that these folks picked this to risk their lives. Storming the capital for a revolution gives you the chance of dying, how did they not know that? I'm honestly surprised that there weren't more injuries...embarrassing these people got this far.
Seems like a tough ask on this one. I guess this would fall under Section 4. Trump did fire several key cabinet members and put loyalists on board. I wonder how Congress can help, a lot of gray area type of language.
The rumor is pence authorized the national guard to secure the city before invoking the 25th amendment. I don't believe it but I can hope for it
It's a believable rumor just because it's incredible that he is the one that activated the national guard. It is a legitimate question of how Mike Pence was able to do this legally. I'm glad bureaucracy didn't stand in the way of common sense, but still question remains.
No not yet but inferring statements are coming out from the director of national intelligence, and senator Romney. Former President George Bush has labeled the event an insurrection. I think inciting an insurrection would be grounds.
