We are talking about a full chamber of US Senators and some crazies walking around with who know what. How is this even allowable?
It's America....... we have never really had to worry about anything like this before..... for all the oddity and at times violence in America (although VASTLY over sensationalized) the institutions have always been respected.
Trump kept up the heat, eventually the steam had to blow. But this will just blow the pressure off and the majority of people see it for what it is, Trump insanity.
At least. @AroundTheWorld -- your question about why weren't law enforcement agencies prepared is a good one. And it's problematic in our system of government. The "big guns" are federal ones, and you know who gets to tell them when to deploy, (like he did against peaceful protestors in front of the White House). The executive branch and federal law enforcement, for another two weeks at least, answers to Trump. So he just invited people to this rally, fired them up with more lies, and got his ass back to twitter while the mayhem ensued.
Why? You don't think this really hurts him with his voters, do you? There will still be Senators and Congressmen that will stand by him..... hell they may even be more likely to listen to him after seeing what happens.
