I talked to her tonight and she’s doing a portion on the mutations in her next podcast.

 

Id like to hear her perspective. I don't think I'm getting the vaccine right away, regardless, but I'd like to learn new things.

I think the vaccine will be ineffective for certain new strains within six month's time. I'll wait and see what happens.

Im not being a jerk when I say this, but do some legit research. Im mid 2020, I was in the same boat as you. TBH, vast majority people had no idea what was being developed, so its not really fair to judge people on that. If GMO's in your kitchen food pantry doesnt make you squeamish, you shouldn't have a problem with this.

Im not advocating you to take it, just take the time to really understand what it is compared to the crazy **** we did through time. Honestly putting a dead pathogen in your body to build an immunity is closer to blood letting than futurist medicine.

 

My understanding is that the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines target multiple areas of the spike proteins so it would take many mutations for them to lose effectiveness. Also as B-Bob noted so far they aren't seeing fast mutations.

In terms of whether the vaccine(s) will lose effectiveness, yes that is a distinct possibility but I'm not sure at this point is a reason not to get it. Even effectiveness for one season is still better than nothing. The only reason I can see for not taking the vaccine is unless your immune system is compromised so it can't tolerate it or there is strong evidence of a negative side effect.
