If they split then Romney/Collins/Murkowski rule. If the Democrats sweep Manchin is king. Don't see much of a difference either way.....

Interesting...I hadn't thought that much about it. Any chance Romney becomes a Democrat?

Romney's a true conservative, so the best you'd probably get is going independent if he thinks the GOP has gone off the rails. But he's not really moderate or left-leaning on policy issues, so he doesn't fit in the Democratic Party either, outside of a very low baseline of "we believe in democracy". If they wanted to do a powerplay, Murkowski and Manchin (both legitimately moderate) could basically both go independent and form a pact that they will all vote together on everything. It would make them kingmakers and force all legislation to be approved by both of them.

Imagine the power. I wonder if Susan would approve.

Ossoff is definitely going to lose based on the Exit polling. Old people are voting Purdue and young people are voting Ossoff. The problem is there are way more seniors. Also, independents are basically split. Ossoff has no chance.

At least the stock market should be happy. Of course, exit polls have been wrong before.

By the end of the night, John King will have spoken more words than I will speak in the next 3 years.

They’re both up by about 70,000 votes with 19% in.

I expect both Republicans to win because it’s still Georgia.

2021, give us this dub. Please!

Perdue comes across as an alien lifeform trying to impersonate humans, and Loeffler is a robot with human skin

I’ve done the math. And, I’m always wrong as I suck at math. :)

    It’s too early to call.

1 and 1 split would be entertaining. Watch republicans claim that half the election was rigged.

This is all early vote so far. It's really meaningless at this point.

Counties that are reporting 99% of their vote seem to have Dem Senators outperforming *Biden*, which is awesome. All the counties with less than 99% reporting are wildcards since we don't know proportions of early and regular voting - but 99% reporting counties are useful. The big caveat is turnout - if it's higher in GOP areas, then outperforming in %'s may not matter.
