Wood at the 4 and defensive big at the 5. This would put PJ at 3 but he would prob be moved to bench in this case for lack of scoring. But it could work. Having a weak 5 just means filling in the holes. We prob could be decent if we still had ROCO at 3 to cover for Wood’s weakness. But at this point need to solidify the 5 spot and move wood down.

Pj is not a great rebounder, but he does the most important part besides getting the rebounds, which is boxing out, and he is great at it. I feel like in the past he will do it a lot for James, but James doesn't seem as interested in getting them as before.
Wood is not a great rebounder, but he is the closest guy we have to the basket and that's why he gets so many. But he doesn't really box out or position well, and hes frame is so small, he gets move around by physical players.
Cousins will fix our rebounding problems... at the cost of screwing up our defense even more, as teams will hunt him down on the pick and roll.
To me, we need more help from the guards/sf, or acquire a better rebounder on a trade.

Not sure what you mean by “screwed” by putting a big in the lineup. A lot of teams are playing big. Look at Boston and Denver and Dallas today. Toronto has a similar issue to rox and are getting killed on the boards with weak ass baynes and Siakim.

Or Wood at the 5 and Aaron Gordon at the 4.

Or waivers. Taj Gibson is still out there. Again those Rox teams of years past was dominant on the boards because of special players like Ariza and CP3 in addition to Big Clint C. Those teams were special. We no longer have those great rebounding guards and wing guys in addition to a weak ass center. I agree if we can’t find a big to plug into the lineup then we need a physical wing that can rebound.

Tuck ain’t the issue man. Weak 5 means need to reinforce and makeup for his weakness which means Implement another big or get a nasty wing that can rebound roco Ariza style but these guys are rare.

I really don’t know Gordon’s game but a lot of people here on this site love him. I don’t think he’s necessarily a great rebounder or defender from what I’ve seen but that’s from couple years ago. I was thinking defensive guy that not necessarily needs to score.

He had 6 rebounds each game against both sac and den. Not sure what you guys are basing this off of. It’s just been 4 games.

I actually like Taj Gibson for this team. He cant really shoot, but Wood should be able to stretch a bit and he is not liability on defense.

It was a joke dude. Lighten up. You posted several videos. Interesting. Again I don’t know much about him except for a few games I saw years ago. Never really liked him. But seems like you know more. These videos shed new light. I have to watch more of him to make an assessment.

Doesn’t solve interior defense issues. Can Gordon guard the post? What about bigs like Jokic, nurkic or gobert?
