Ironically it was the model franchise the Spurs that allowed Kawhi to walk all over them. Butler still performed in Minny... Melo in Denver... Dwight in Orlando... etc.

The question in the words of Eric Gordon "was it fun?" Probably not.

Harden will surpass Kobe and probably Jordan THIS season for total 50+ games for career.

And Harden still has years of prime left.

Going back to MPJ, there is a reason Denver’s defense has been much better with him out.

Love MPJs potential, but he is not a good fit in Denver next to Jokic, and currently is a very poor defender.

Just what we need, another poor defender to build around Wood.

Denver screwed themselves by letting Grant & Bragg ,their top wing defenders , walk. They should have traded either Harris or Barton and let Milsap (35 years old) walk. They are definitely smaller and won’t be as good defensively.

    Wilt was an incredible scorer.

Also won MVP 4x but he only won the championship 2x and the 2nd time he had to join the Lakers Allstar cast.

I would say his legacy would have been more respected with more ships.

Wilt was not a ‘sympathetic’ character. And with Russ winning and Wilt falling short, what 11-2?, even with Wilt putting up far greater #s than Russ in their match-ups, Wilt had the awe but not the love and respect.

I have often said I wish there could have been a vintage Wilt v vintage Shaq Mano-a-Mano...

before Harden arrived, I thought we were gonna be a bottom 5 team in the NBA led by Lin and get a top pick in a draft where Bennett, Oladipo, Otto Porter, Cody Zeller, and Alex Len were the 1st 5 picks

when Harden arrived, I bumped up my expectations to us being a 37 win team

Harden messed around and got us 45 wins and a playoff berth

I remember that team well .

it was not a good team relative to the mvp candidate harden years ... but it was better and more exciting than the previous dragic/Lowry run with Kevin Martin and some Rick adelman big man .

that team had a lot of potential on it . I feel like Patrick Patterson and Asik were a decent defensive tandem that year . Greg smith looked unstoppable at times . That team was fun to watch if they managed to get out in transition . Parsons didn’t make the lillard mistake until a year later . We still thought of him as a two-way player at some points . He never had a good enough nba body and it showed later in his career.

Inaugural season of Tjones vs Dmo. A joke which we have not yet brought back for 21
    But it will come .

and of course the hot topic - Lin vs Beverley . Settled by next season . Man as bad as things are now in our country .... things have never been as bad on the bbs as peak LOF vs LOH ... I mean every God. Damn. Thread Had that **** brought into it. D and D was the escape to reasonable conversation.

How much more respect can his legacy really get...? Or am I just that old...?

Donatas was on that team... it makes me 10x better than last year's squad.

Wilt was amazing. World class high jumper. World class volleyball. Considered a heavy weight boxing championship challenge. And unstoppable on the court. Wilt.

But, heavily dissed. Unloved. Except by what, 20 thou wimmin?
