I understand why Wood bounced around the League so much. He's very skilled offensively but he's a horrible rebounder and rim protector lmao. Even his last rebound was a total fluke & he very nearly gave up another offensive board because he didn't box out.
Kings are running a lot of cuts in paint when Rockets switch - making the Rockets D look a lot worse than it is ... they need to not switch in the paint and just stick to man
Have you forgotten how bad our defense was for the greater part of last year or does that not fit your Anti-Silas agenda?
The Rockets can score with any team The reality of this season so far will be getting KEY STOPS in the 4th One or Two Key Stops and we beat Portland. Rocket River
I think Wall looks awesome considering he hasn't played in 2 years. I almost have to re-learn driving a car if i didn't drive for 2 weeks - considering that he has been really good. Some rust is still there. Nice trade.
Quick question to gather some opinions from y'all. For this year, while we try and get Wood to gain some muscle, would you ever experiment with him at the 4? I understand the worry is we don't have the depth if we put Cousins at the 5 and Wood at the 4, and no one to come off the bench for them. Just curious to hear y'alls thoughts.
Wall strength is in the open court. He can’t break anyone down in the half court. That is not his game. He needs to use his speed to his advantage
Wall is polar opposite of Harden in the ISO. Harden is magical and wall is like a little kid playing 2K who isn’t really sure how to dribble and get by the defender.
I'm not starting a "Hate Westbrook" post here. I loved his hustle. However, I just feel there's a different kind of speed between Westbrook in Wall. Wall seems more under control at top speed than Westbrook does.
then he needs to call for a pick.. he is just sitting out there dribbling when he knows he has no iso game just straight line ability.
As soon as we switched back to the proper switch everything defensive we were elite. Or do you not recall?
I'm going to say this. Christian Woods at his current weight isn't and shouldn't be a Center. In any other time period other than this one, he would play exclusively at PF.
Woods isnt that bad of a defender, he's average I would say. He doesnt do the little things right but the big things he does. That can be cleaned up.
I have facts. Wood is contesting the sixth most shots per game with 6 feet. Opponents are shooting 11% worse than expected. And it’s not like he’s seen bad offenses. The exact opposite. https://www.nba.com/stats/players/d...ir=1&Season=2020-21&SeasonType=Regular Season Focus on how atrocious Sterling Brown and the rest have been on and off ball.
